Hello, it is me Danniela Nichols (aka..Sunshine Girl). I call everyone Sunshine, so I received the nick name 'Sunshine Girl'.
I am a two-time cancer survivor and a single mother of 2 fantastic boys, Tyler 17 and Landen 9. I started racing triathlons in 2004 and have four Ironman finishes under my belt and over 25 other triathlons ranging from sprints to HIMs, with many more to come. My children keep me on track and after my surgery, my goal was to finish another Ironman ... especially when I was told “I couldn’t finish it”. I was awarded the 2007 Everyday Hero in Louisville Ky. I am a mother, a full time personal trainer, spinning / pilates / boot camp Instructor and a Swim Coach. This year I am training 16 clients to finish Ironman WI and Ironman Ky.
